The Auvergne is one of France's hidden treasures, an unspoilt region of hills and mountains, valleys, forests and rivers.

The barn is located in the department "Puy de Dome" 50 km west of the capital Clermont Ferrand.

The nearest town, St Sauves d’Auvergne, is only a few minutes drive away, and has a school, post office, bakery, butcher, convenience store and other shops.

The famous spa town La Bourboule is a seven minute drive away and the ski slopes located at Mt Dore is only a short 20 minute drive away
