The end of our dream has sadly come due to unforeseen
parental problems.
We have a small complex in La Masse near Prayssac in
the Lot region of France.
The three bedroom house is converted and has
a lovely salon with wood burner and evier, kitchen, downstairs shower room, and
large cave.
The pool is complete and there is a large barn that has
full planning and listed building consent for conversion. Also several thousand
pounds worth of architects drawings.
There is also a former bread oven
which houses the pool room and would make a double bedroom.
We planned
to live in the Barn which has had a good deal of work started and let the rest
of the buildings which are worth £1,000+ per week in season.
There is quite a lot of land with the property (15 hectares), but not
adjoining and in over 20 parcels. One large plot has a derelict barn with water
/ electricity nearby.
