Dismantled church frame for sale currently in Hampshire

Church frame, dismantled and ready to be removed from present site in Fordingbridge, Hampshire

A fully dismantled frame of a mission church, ready to be removed from its present location, in storage in Hampshire. The trusses boast some fine detailing and the frame is well marked for ease of re-erection

The former mission church of St Chads was erected in about 1906, and stood in Tunstall Staffordshire until it was dismantled in 2004.

It consists of four 10" x 5" timber ( I believe pitched pine) trusses with iron ties which in a single span stretch to an impressive 32ft. These trusses are mounted on masonary piers which allows the overall height of the building to be flexible.

The trusses are joined by some 9" x 5" purlins which were then set in the gable end walls producing an overall length of approx 60ft.

The frame has been in storage since it was dismantled and is well marked for re-assembly.

With the fine detail of the trusses, when cleaned they will undoubtedly look superb, and suit a variety of applications.
