Barn conversion with indoor swimming pool and gym close to Peterborough and King's Lynn

8,000 square foot listed barn conversion with indoor swimming pool and gym area, courtyard and exposed roof timbers in village setting on the Cambs / Norfolk border close to Peterborough, King's Lynn and the coast

Granary Barn is situated in the very picturesque village of Elm, on the Cambridgeshire / Norfolk border, offering easy access to Peterborough, King's Lynn and the North Norfolk coast. It is also within 15 minutes of March and Downham train stations.

The village boasts three pubs, a school, local convenience store and a Post Office, all within easy walking distance. It is also on the main bus route from Wisbech to March.

Granary Barn is a 26-roomed listed building of approx. 8,000 square feet, set in the grounds of Elm's oldest house and the building has been in use right up to the start of the conversion in 2000.

All rooms throughout the barn have the original roof timbers exposed. Large areas of brickwork have been left exposed wherever building regulations would allow. All timberwork and joinery have been manufactured on-site in a fully equipped workshop by local craftsmen who have been employed for five years, working solely on this project. All fine details have been carefully thought out and reproduced to suit the style and age of the building.

The barn is an absolute showpiece; only by visiting it will you see the sheer size and appreciate the attention to detail that makes this property truly unique.
