Unconverted barn with nine acres of land in Detling, near Maidstone, Kent

Two storey barn of brick and timber construction with full planning permission for residential conversion. It has nine acres of paddocks and grazing, an air raid shelter, additional outbuilding, established road access and services and is located near Maidstone in Kent

This authentic Kentish barn is on two levels with a slate roof. The floor area is approx 1,100 sq foot.

It is of predominantly timber construction with some brickwork and is clad in traditional weatherboard. There is a toilet attached and an office attachment to the side.

Outbuildings

Adjacent to the barn is an underground air raid shelter which we believe to be 20' x 6' but we have never explored.

There is also an additional outbuilding 24' x 10'.

The Land

The barn is set on a plot of approximately one acre of level land and has hard standing for vehicles.

There is an additional superb well fenced hillside paddock of approx eight acres.

Access and Services

The property is served by a long established (it's own) access on the A249 with easy access to M20 & M2 also accessable via a shared drive from the Pilgrim's Way.

Water and cesspool are on site as is electricity. The total site is in the region of 9-10 acres well fenced and secure and would lend itself to many uses.
