The Mill
A mill has been known to exist on the site since the 12th Century and perhaps earlier. The Mill Race still exists and can power the current machinery dating, in the main from 1839. Consisting of 5 pairs of stones driven by an pitch back iron wheel 14 feet in diameter with a 10 foot face.
