Recently completed (November 2002) and immaculately restored oak beamed stone floored barn conversion near Warrington, Cheshire.
Believed to date from the 17th century and with around a third of an acre of land, it is the largest and oldest of three barns which are attached in a T shape configuration (gives good privacy).
The barns are in a private Farm House courtyard setting with long open views across the fields to the distant hills. The surrounding countryside is arable land and the farmhouse is
no longer a working farm.
The barn has been restored sympathetically retaining its original adzed oak
beams and perlins. The finishes are of high quality with hand made iron fittings, original Pennine stone floor, plus
broad planked oak flooring etc.
