Set in the rolling Sussex hills, Burwash lies around twenty minutes from Tunbridge Wells and Battle, and is home to The National Trust's "Bateman's", the former residence of Rudyard Kipling.

The village is only three miles from Etchingham Station, which offers fast train services to London in just over the hour.

Within easy reach of Burwash lie the acclaimed golf courses of Dale Hill and the East Sussex National, as well as the beautiful Bewl Water reservoir.
