Our design philosophy is very simple - to create the most visually appealing products utilising the best available components and incorporating a host of sustainable design features to set the standard in terms of aesthetic appeal, durability and energy efficiency. In addition to being more environmentally sustainable, the timber stabilisation process creates products with a superior performance in terms of dimensional stability and long term durability. The process also provides enhanced aesthetics through the selection of defect-free timber.

Window Types

Dendura Traditional windows incorporate a flush-fitting casement, typical of pre-war design, whilst offering exceptional levels of security and durability. Historically more regularly utilised in period properties, Traditional style windows are increasingly being used in new buildings to great effect.

Dendura Classic windows are frequently used on post 1960’s buildings. The Classic stormproof window has a more contemporary feel and an external lipped appearance.

Heritage sliding-sash windows are manufactured with a range of standard design features including concealed corded spring-balance operation, rebated meeting rails providing enhanced security, factory glazed with sealed units, low e-glass throughout and fully weather sealed. Dendura’s Heritage sliding sash windows, doors and conservatories have been incorporated into both new-build and restoration projects.

Dendura’s folding-sliding doors and windows are smooth gliding, creating design flexibility and a contemporary appearance. Typically, 90% usage of an opening is allowed compared to 40% with conventional patio door systems. Suitable for both residential and commercial new-build or refurbishment applications.

Energy Efficiency

Dendura is dedicated to optimising energy efficiency and can offer BFRC rated windows to suit project-specific requirements. As a further demonstration of their commitment Dendura are a partner in the Pilkingtons energiKare scheme.

Composition and manufacture

Manufactured from solid stabilised European oak and other quality timbers. All systems incorporate Dendura’s unique lambs tongue internal profile and doors are specified as standard with a heavy-duty, 68mm thick section, supplied as factory hung doorsets.

The windows are made to measure using standard profiles and have four standard finishes available: Ash, Honey, Oak, White.

Durability

The timber stabilisation process increases the strength and durability of Dendura products, creating windows, doors and conservatories that will retain their integrity.

Additionally, the use of water-based microporous Glasurit coatings provides long term low maintenance
