I run a small independent ecological consultancy and specialise in protected species surveys, in particular bats and barn owls.

I can carry out an initial survey and produce a report suitable for planning purposes for a very reasonable cost. If required a more detailed emergence survey which will show entrance and exit points and species type can also be undertaken.

I retain a Natural England and CCW bat licence enabling me to enter roosts if required to undertake survey work. If bats are found or signs of bats a licence is normally required, I have experience of submitting successful EPS applications for building conversions and renovations, including the design of mitigation schemes.

Most other types of ecological surveys are also available including botanical surveys.

I work mainly in the Midlands, Wales and the North-West of England but am willing to travel further if required.
